LACC Services during Summer A

Welcome back, UF community! Summer is usually a bit different in Smathers Library and LACC, and this year is no different.

First of all, yes, we are open! Our reading room has a maximum occupancy of 34, and you can access our KIC scanner and black-and-white printer if you need to scan or print anything while in Smathers Library.

What about the books? The UF Libraries are no longer providing temporary electronic access to books covered by the HathiTrust, so those physical/print books are now accessible through LACC for checkout. At this time LACC books are available to checkout through our pickup service (started in July 2020), and we are not staffing our reference desk so research assistance is by email or appointment.

The LACC reading room is open Mondays through Thursdays 8am to 6pm, and Fridays 8am to 5pm.
